We asked our amazing office managers, Ashley and LeAnn, to sit down with us and answer a few of the most common questions we receive about these plans.

• What is the Bellano Dental Savings Plan?

Our Savings Plan is a straight-forward way to save money on dentistry, and an alternative for patients who may not have dental coverage through work or may be on a fixed income. For a $299 annual fee, the plan includes all of your standard annual exams, associated x-rays and oral cancer screenings, as well as discounts on restorative or cosmetic care.

• Is the Savings Plan the same as dental insurance?

While often confused with insurance, our Savings Plan is not dental insurance. In fact, our Bellano Dental Savings Plan is less complicated than most dental insurance policies. Depending on premiums and what insurance covers, the Savings Plan may also be a lower cost than traditional insurance.

• How does the Bellano Dental Savings Plan compare to dental insurance?

The main difference between our dental savings plan and traditional insurance is its simplicity. All standard annual care is covered with one simple fee, and we offer discounts on additional services. Rather than your dental insurance dictating your treatment by stating what they will and will not cover (such as cosmetic treatments, Invisalign, etc), the Savings Plan includes 15% off of any procedure - you and your dentist get to decide what is best for you.

Some patients feel limited by their insurance - like they need to stay within certain parameters or even choose a dental office they wouldn’t have otherwise, just because it’s “in network.”

With the Bellano Dental Savings Plan, you can stay with your Bellano dentist even if you change jobs and insurance providers.

While some insurance plans through your employer may not cover other members of your family, you can purchase the Savings Plan for as many individuals as needed.

• How do I know if the Bellano Dental Savings Plan is right for me?

If you do not currently have dental insurance, are unhappy with your coverage, or if your employer is considering dropping your dental coverage, this is a great solution! College students who may be aging out of their parents’ plan could also benefit from our Savings Plan, as well as those who have an out-of-state insurance provider who doesn’t cover dental care in the state of Tennessee.

For some patients, the $299 annual fee for our Dental Savings Plan is essentially covered by what you might pay out of pocket for your first cleaning appointment or for your insurance premiums.

If your current insurance premiums are 100% covered by your employer and you never have occasion to pay out of pocket (i.e. for a filling or other work), your existing coverage may still suit you well.

• How does the Bellano Dental Savings Plan work?

The Savings Plan process is very simple. Contact your favorite Bellano office, sign up, pay your annual fee, and you’re all set! From there, all your regular dental care is covered for the next 365 days, including two exams, one emergency exam, fluoride treatments, cancer screenings, all x-rays as needed, and 15% off additional procedures.

We also do not have an annual limit for dental services - the 15% off discount applies across the board to any and all procedures, including periodontal maintenance, implants, veneers, and more.

• How much does the Bellano Dental Savings Plan cost?

For individuals, our Savings Plan costs $299 per year for adults, and $199 per year for children under the age of 14.
