After a little more than 30 years of practicing on Walnut Knoll Lane, Dr. Beth Kakales is moving her practice just down the road and joining us at Bellano Dental in the new Germantown office on Exeter Road. She and her hygienist, Cindy Bardwell, started practicing at the Exeter office on December 4th. They are excited to work alongside Dr. Wade Clayton and the entire Germantown team.

For Dr. Kakales, dentistry has always been a family affair. She was a young child when her father was in dental school, and quickly became interested in what he was doing and learning. "When he began his practice, I was so sad that my name wasn’t on the sign - I felt like a part of it!" Dr. Kakales loved meeting his patients and fondly recalls working in his practice as she grew up.

Within her own practice, she says that the relationships built with patients have always been her favorite part. "When you own your practice for 30 years, it feels like you become part of a family. I’ve watched patients grow up and families expand. Even as children move away, I still keep up with them through their parents. I’ve laughed and cried with patients. They aren’t just patients, they’re friends!"

Joining forces with the Bellano team was an easy decision. "I’ve known Jeff Gardino for years and have always admired Dr. Clayton. He’s an excellent dentist so it seemed like a natural fit."

In addition to knowing patients and building relationships over the years, Dr. Kakales deeply values partnering with her patients to better their lives through dentistry. "I love improving the health of patients, and helping them feel better about themselves. "

When she isn't practicing dentistry, Dr. Kakales loves arranging flowers, being involved with her church, and spending time with her adult children - both of whom recently got married!
